About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hedonist exploration essentially oriented toward immaterial achievements.
ABOUT ME
My friends might consider me as someone reasonably quiet/listening, curious (if not quaint) and with some humor... I like to think and walk (solitarily, but not exclusively so) in the wild, as well as talking to singular people, especially if they're smarter than I am (which astonishingly is not as unusual as it may be expected). I guess I can be a bit absentminded, handicapped in practical matters and distracted, which I guess may upset some people! Beyond these limitations, however, I am not wholly unkind.
PHILOSOPHY
My main passion is the incubation of various theses and speculative theories about our universe, on the various conceptual planes from which it can be subjected to analysis. Expounding and learning these transfiguring but mostly harmlessly intellectual visions is an activity I cherish above all others - except the most subtle, delicate gastronomical sensations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, I'd like to try the hosting experience.
Interests
I love reading and learning multidisciplinarily (science, history, language, philosophy, ...), as long as a fair amount of logical fairness is observed by the corresponding field of activity; meeting people who have something significant to share (kindness as much as intelligence, understanding, ...). I probably also appreciate good movies and music (sharing those I know and discovering those you know), and on a general level I like when people show me something elegant and awe-inspiring.
I also derive a surprisingly developed pleasure from having an intensely silent moment with people of a delightful nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde), Star Maker (Olaf Stapledon), Stendhal, Proust, Borges, Melville, Steinbeck, ...; Once upon a time in America, The good son, Beautiful mind, Over the top, ...; Bach, Jacques Brel, Beethoven, Dvorak, ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, in high school, I once crossed a river by swimming during my physical education lesson, because of a bet with my teacher... On a slightly more gratifying level, I went to Vietnam for the international physics olympiads, and it was an notable experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I can teach a few things in physics, logic, history, politics, economics, science, litterature, mathematics, ... Of course I'm also willing to learn what any decent teacher-friend will be willing to teach me...
