ABOUT ME

I'm a normal Spanish girl that you can find in a charming, small city in the North of Spain who has an incredible passion for travelling the world.

Travelling has defined me, I love being with people who come from far away places and I love when they tell their stories. When I was doing my Erasmus in Latvia I tried hitchhiking and loved it as well. Hichhiking and backpacking are a way of life

I chose to study "English Studies" at the university because I'm in love with languages. I cannot live without books, movies or music, love animals, specially dogs and I'm a vegetarian since I was 18.

As I said before, I had the oportunity to live in Riga during one year thanks to the Erasmus program; it was one of the best experiences of my life, I met really important people there that are still part of my life. I'm too young and too crazy to stay in the city I currently live, so I hope to move out again soon!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that the little things, the little details, are the most important ones.

This will sound typical, but "I'm in love with people I've never known, and places I've never been"

Everybody has always something interesting to say and we must listen: everyone has an amazing story to tell, the story of their lives, in which we may play a role for one second, one day, one year...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Logroño I'm living with my parents so I didn't have the oportunity to try couchsurfing till I moved to Latvia. Couchsurfing was really helpful while travelling aroung, I used it in Lithuania, Estonia, Norway... :) Moreover, as I was sharing a flat with another 4 students who were also participating in couchsurfing so we had a lot of guests in our flat! We also went to a hitchhiking meeting that took place in Latvia, near the seaside in the South of the country where most of the people were also couchsurfing members; it was great :D

Interests

Cinema, literature, animals, and of course, travelling
I rarely travel without a book in my backpack, they are the best companions in long trips by bus/ train, etc

I'm a lover of beer and food from all over the world, but I'm particularly amazed and seduced by Thai food

Music, Movies, and Books

Impossible to choose... about books, I love literature from Canada, Ireland, England, France, America, India... Everything is amazing in its own way :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I only knew a guy for one week and he suggested me to jump out of a plane and I said yes :D So there you have my first skydiving experience!

I've also done the interrail twice with my friends and both times it was a crazy, unforgettable experience! They were my first backpacking trips, you can never forget them :)

Teach, Learn, Share

My studies have allowed me to start teaching English this year and I really enjoy it :-) I was teaching people from all ages, from 14 years old to 60! I want to become a teacher some day, so it's been a good training. So, that's what I can teach :P
