To explore and learn. This doesn't mean roaming the world carelessly but rather seizing any opportunity that should appear in my day to day life.

ABOUT ME

I'd say travel was determined as my natural passion by my parents long before I was born. I was born in Ethiopia and grew up in different areas until I was six. I've since spent my life living in India, Afghanistan, Dubai and occasionally dropping back to England when it suits. Thus I've become a sort of travel addict and have so far ventured to about 40 countries (I hold the cliche ambition of travelling to every country in the world at some point). Along with this, I'm an addicted reader on pretty much any subject and passionate in international politics. Don't think this means I am headstrong and or forceful of my views, rather the contrary, I have known so many different characters in my life that I couldn't be more open and accepting. I've also been a vegan (strict vegetarian to those who don't know the term) since birth but can now get by very easily in any culture with any cuisine, I've started taking it as a challenge.

PHILOSOPHY

Live in the long term and have ambitions, yet don't think that means you can't enjoy the small things in the short term as they go by.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only begun couch surfing and have no real experience. Rather, I'd say my life experience has been lacking couch surfing yet trying to replicate it, always staying with a friend or making friends on the way.

I can't limit movies and books to a specific few so I have gone for genres.

Movies - foreign films, documentaries, comedies and a good thriller always goes down well.

Books - political commentary, philosophy and anything historical.

Music - indie, acoustic, West African and I've become strangely very into electronic and chillstep (relaxed dubstep).
