About Me
Just a girl in the world
I like being barefoot, sitting by a fire or a river, listening to music, working in the garden...
Camping in the mountains and laughing under the stars, putting my feet in the water and contemplating the nature of existence, dancing in the desert rain and being thankful for all the world.
I'm an administrative assistant at a nonprofit focused on human rights issues, a grant writer intern at a sustainable waste management nonprofit, and waitress at a salad joint. Busy always ~ I have a background in sustainable agriculture, herbal medicine, and environmental science. Looking for more ways to grow and be more myself all the time :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is one of my passions. There is much to learn about the world, and many unique and wonderful people to meet. I have been able to travel and have a safe place to stay because of Couchsurfing. I have also met some of the best people ever on CS, including one of my current roommates and closest friends who I hosted back in 2017 <3

One of my favorite books of all time is Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dillard. Highly recommend!
Now that fall is here I'm excited to re-watch Over the Garden Wall
I listen to all genres of music. Sample artists: Vashti Bunyan, Nitty Scott, Gregory Alan Isakov, Dylan Smucker, Iron & Wine, Karen Dalton, Mac Miller, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Tyler Childers, The Marias, Adrienne Lenker, IC3PEAK, System of a Down, Cigarettes After Sex, Little Simz, Ali Farka Toure, The Smiths, Bassekou Kouyate, Mindchatter, Mariee Sioux
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a summer on an off-grid, rural, sustainable farm in southern Colorado learning how to grow many types of crops, milk goats, make cheese, compost, and manage pests organically for a low income community.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have much to share about farming, herbal medicine, botany, and conservation.
It would be fun to play music with hosts/guests. I play the viola, mandolin, and banjo.
