My fiance and I love to travel. We fell in love on a last minute road trip to Folly Beach, South Carolina with no planning and sleeping in the back of the Subaru. I'm an artist. I use Acryllic paints, graphite, colored pencil, woodburning and really any art supply I can get my hands on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience the world. I want to meet great people and hopefully find some friends to last a lifetime. Planning a long road trip on my motorcycle in August.

I like most music in general, if there is a good rhythm, melody or lyric I'm there. Rock is my favorite genre. Sevendust, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, etc.
I love fantasy books. Tolkien is my hero. I also love Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to Germany for 2 weeks when I was 16 playing guitar in an Old Time String band representing the Appalachian music tradition in 2 different music festivals.
Ran away to the beach with no notice, we flipped a coin to see if we were going to ever come home.
Achieved a life long dream of buying a motorcycle and getting my motorcycle license.
Gave a loving home to 3 shelter dogs who were the light of my life, sadly only 1 is still with me.
Created my own in home art studio.
Served on the board of a non-profit organization.
