I’m Amber, a 28 year old traveler from the Netherlands (Holland). I live in Holland but I’m currently traveling through Asia and South America. I recently quitted my job and the plan is to see and learn as much as possible of these two continents in a year! I’m half Spanish half Dutch and I speak fluently Spanish, Dutch and English.

I’m very social and love to learn and share experiences with local people around the world. I truly believe that I can learn so much from other people and I would love to give my share too. I’m very easy going and down to earth. But I’m also fun to have around as I like to laugh and have fun together!

Music: a bit of everything
Movies: very keen on movies about history. But also movies based on true stories, action movies etc.
Books: depends on my mood. I like to read everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can’t really choose one amazing thing I’ve done. But one of them is definitely the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal. This was such an amazing experience, both mentally and fysically. Getting to the pass at 5500 meters was a big achievement for me, but the people I did it with made it possible to get through. You need the support and they need yours. I will go back to Nepal for more trekkings for sure.

I speak fluently English, Spanish and Dutch. So if you want to practice one of these languages, I’m the one! And if you are not interested in languages don’t worry, there’s always something to learn!
