About Me
Hello! In August I left Minnesota and have been traveling since. I spent three months WWOOFing (organic farming) in New England and have more farms scheduled in the Carolinas and Georgia. I'll be at an ashram in Southern California before beginning a job as an organic farmer florist in Fresno in February. Whoa, alliteration.
Having just finished my degree in Professional Writing (interested in small magazines and publishers), it was a good time to conclude my nanny job of three years and shift into a new type of study. Meeting new people has always been a source of joy and learning for me, and I am beyond grateful for all the cool people I've crossed paths with so far!
For more of a peek into my personality and adventures, feel free to check out my Instagram @bambwhat and a small collection of ramblings at totheredwoods.wordpress.com, which is not the best representation of my writing skills. Ha. (I can provide professional samples if that interests you though.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in friendships of all types! People are beautiful creatures and I've already been blessed with so many experiences and new relationships. What a wonderful way to travel-- meet open-minded and open-hearted individuals from all over. I look forward to that day I can offer my own place to travelers. I know I will love hosting and will be glad to be able to repay some of the generosity that's been shown to me.
