Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine suggested this site. I'm not hosting at the moment until I'm more settled, but I'm relying on the kindness of others and I hope to make some new friends along the way.

Interests

Film, books, movies, writing, going to different places, trying different foods, going to different countries (eventually), did I mention film? Like, most all things film related, I'm really into. As a creative, it's who I am. lol. I'm more interested in a different life these days. Something much more fun and carefree.

Um, HUGE Red Hot Chili Peppers fan, I love romance novels. (I hated 50 Shades of Grey) My favorite movie is Tombstone (I'm Ya Huckleberry) and I love all the marvel movies, because I watched the cartoons as a kid and even now. I'm getting more into older films to learn from them and I'm learning (poorly) how to play the guitar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the Marine Corps for five years. Two and a half years I got to spend in Iwakuni Japan. I cannot even describe how amazing that was. Just the experience of having lived there. It was something I never thought I'd get the chance. Next stop, Ireland.
