HI!!! My name is Amber, I am 27 years old and live in Ventura Ca. I work as a new born specialist helping first time parents and parents of multiples adjust to their growing family. Its a niche job with a niche clientel and I love what I do. My job allows me to travel ( currently in Hong Kong) and traveling is probably my second passion. I have been to Austria, Canada, and now China for work.

Back home I live with my fiance and cat Taquito. We like to spend time at the beach close to our home and have on on going beer hobby, we dont make it yet we only enjoy it, a whole lot of it! Some things I like to do are; surf, hike, garden, do yoga, hoop dance, ballroom dance, drink pints, camp, and BBQ.

Something different about my self and my fiance is that we are Burners. Meaning we attend the Burning Man festival each August ( when we can get a ticket that is). For 10+ days we survive in the Nevada desert, build structures, participating in Art, and dancing until the sun comes up. We have a couch there, and a hammock and we have had the opportunity to be host to many travelers in our temporary desert home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because i've stayed in hostels and hotels, but i would rather make a new friend from a different part of the world.
