Overview
About Me
Skateboarder since 1994 and former Marine. I've always been drug and alcohol free, but guests are encouraged to do as they like. Husband, plus 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son are afoot, often with friends. It can sometimes be loud here. We have a black boxer dog, 4 goats, and 2 cats.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel is a way to push limits and create a life with stories that no one else has. Couchsurfing is a way to get some of the benefits of traveling without leaving your own home. I want to expose my kids to other languages and lifestyles, including the open minded traveler/explorer lifestyle in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
El Camino de Santiago, WWOOFing in Baskemolla, Sweden, becoming the first female firefighter in my hometown
What I Can Share with Hosts
A bed which is great in the spring, summer and fall but cold in the winter. Bed is located in partially finished basement, which also has a half bathroom (non-fancy toilet and sink: the only shower is upstairs/ shared). I can share a few points of interest here, given I'm not at work. Access to a couple bikes. Access to one motorcycle. Access to Gatra bus (community bus here in Plymouth; it is not that great). My house is about a mile from downtown Plymouth. My house can be loud with kids. Basement room is not 100% private because we may need access for bicycles and laundry. We are not great at cooking- we are often more likely to organize a group nature walk than a group dinner.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, England, France, Germany, Honduras, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, Viet Nam
