About Me
The things I value most in life are acceptance, kindness, honesty, friends &family; new experiences & adventures and authentic people. I love meeting new people and I could spend hours discussing their views on life and I'm always interested in other people's life stories. In my spare time I love drawing, painting, writing and reading.
When I was 17 I started studying physics, but I quickly realized it was nothing for me and I didn't know what I wanted in life (still not sure), so I decided to quit, start working and traveling. That was one of the best decisions in my life. I'm still interested in physics and math, but not enough to study it full time.
Since then I've worked in a shelter in the Philippines, a school for disabled kids in Spain, I have a cleaning job in Belgium, I worked as a teacher in Nepal and I'm currently teaching English in Vietnam. My life has been really amazing.
I used to live in the east, Dutch speaking part of Belgium but after traveling I'll move to the Netherlands.
I have not quite figured out what to I want in life, but I am very interested in different kinds of art, history, philosophy and cultures from all over the world. That explains why I will start my study "Arts & Culture" in Maastricht once I'm finished traveling.
I personally believe in the Arabic saying 'Maktub'. I have faith in life, in destiny and believe that everything will be fine, no matter what. With a little patience we'll realize what the universe has planned for us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I did my first solo travel to the Philippines. I volunteered at a shelter for abused girls, age 3-16. It may sound like a hard, heartbreaking experience, but I've learned so many important things there.
These girls were like rays of sunshine and so grateful to get help, education, friendship and love. I taught me to be more grateful of everything I have and not take anything for granted. Especially to enjoy the little things more.
When I got back home all the girls sent me letters, pictures, drawings and from time to time I still get letters of them. It warms my heart to know they are doing well and that I've had a positive impact on their life.
Countries I’ve Visited
Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Nepal, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Philippines, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
