Hi! I'm Amber. I recently moved to Sweden so I'm working my way around the rest of Europe, trying to see some things before we move on to the next place. I started in the states (California and Washington, DC).
I work as a photographer - weddings in DC and more generally now that I'm here in Europe. My husband is a research scientist at Chalmers University here in Gothenburg. We've been married since 2009.
I love learning new things and collecting hobbies, reading, taking photographs, eating and traveling as much as budget allows.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I have a small travel budget! I also enjoy meeting locals and hearing where the *real* restaurants are.

Interests

I've dabbled in ceramics (wheel throwing), yoga, guitar, web design, Android programming, calligraphy, drawing, karate and more. I'm always picking up some random new skill.

Travel stories, chit-chat about books and literature, tons of photos. I bring my photography gear with me most places. I'm always happy to offer a freebie headshot or family snap if you guys are in need, and of course always happy to talk shop or offer photo advice.
