Hey everyone! I’m Amber and I love to explore, learn new cultures, and live life as an adventure. I’m open to pretty much anything and love trying new things 😁

I’ve lived in the US my entire life including PA, MI, and KY. I have always been super passionate about travel and wanting to see every corner of the world.

I graduated Uni in 2022 in Finance. I work as a finance specialist for a small real estate company. I am currently taking a break to travel Europe for 14 weeks.

I believe in experiencing life to its fullest. Say “yes” as often as you can and you’ll have more adventures. Pushing yourself beyond your limits is the only way to grow.

I love anything that is outside. Specifically I like: hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, animals, skydiving, concerts, scuba diving, festivals, and meeting new people. I’m definitely an adrenaline junky and love to have fun.

I’m also a pescatarian by the way. Pescatarian: a vegetarian that also eats fish. (Although I’m allergic to shellfish 😂)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on CS to create new bonds and share amazing stories with other travelers. I’m a huge fan of cultural immersion so I feel this is the best way to do that and share it with others. I don’t use CS for housing, I use it to build new friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I enjoy many different types of music. I generally like anything I can dance to. My favorite kind of music is hard rock (specifically by female artists).

Movies: I don’t watch too many movies so movie references can go over my head unless they are nerdy. I love Disney movies, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel, and Jurassic Park.

Books: I don’t read too much either but I do like the Harry Potter series, Hunger Games, Divergent, and Eragon series.

I can teach American culture and help with English. I often enjoy helping others learn about themselves when trying something new and vis versa. I love sharing stories, laughs, and creating memories.
