ABOUT ME

I am a 30 year old female in my fourth year of veterinary school (in Saskatoon, Canada) who is currently in Australia backpacking over the holidays! I have traveled the world extensively and love meeting new people and learning from them! I love nature, hiking, camping, craft beer, photography and animals. I'm easy-going and friendly, and always ready for an adventure and a good time!

Interests

I love being outside and engaging in any kind of outdoor physical activity, especially hiking! I'm always looking for natural beauty in the world, so love to explore new forests, beaches, etc.. I also love going to pubs and listening to live music, especially traditional Irish music. I really enjoy cooking, baking and learning new recipes. I'm also crazy about horseback riding and anything to do with animals and wildlife.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Hawaii, I went on a helicopter ride and when we were flying over the ocean we ended up flying over a pod of about 6 or so whales. We flew over them for about 5 minutes while they swam below us. It was magical.

Living in beautiful British Columbia you are left awestruck on a daily basis by the mountains and the ocean.

Also went trekking through the mountains in Nepal. It was beautiful and you it felt like mountains were alive.

In Cambodia I experienced some of the friendliest and most hospitable people I've EVER met. It was amazing to me how a country ravaged by war and suffering could have people so welcoming, genuine and kind.
