Hello 🙂 My name is Amber. I'm 27 years old and I'm from Cape Town, South Africa.

I have travelled and worked in most countries in Europe and now I am planning to teach English in Hanoi. Before this I was a nanny in dubai, a stewardess in the Mediterranean, a horse trekking guide in Spain and a teachers assistant in Sweden. I love helping others and I really enjoy having new experiences. Everyday I make an effort to leave the world a little brighter than when I came into it by sharing love and kindness. :)

Couchsurfing is a great way to travel & make new friends. It allows for an authentic cultural experience... And it's free, which means that people who have a smaller budget are also able to explore other parts of the world. I love that, and I love the idea of strangers opening their doors to each other expecting nothing but respect in return.

I went sky diving when I was 11.
I walked 1200km pilgrimage around the island of Shikoku, Southern Japan.
I've spent most of my life growing up on the beachfront and whenever I see dolphins in the bay I'll swim out to them.
