About Me
ABOUT ME
That I'm one of the most honest people you'll ever meet, to the point where I'm know as being 'brutally' honest. But I take that as a compliment :) They would also say that I'm a good friend who is always there for them. As I'm writing this, I realize how weird it is writing what others would say about you because you're basically just talking yourself up...So here's something you might find good/bad depending on your personality, I'm very sarcastic. That's probably what I'm known most for but it's always in a fun light :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is very important to build friendships with people and I think it's much harder to do that if you stay in a hotel every where you go. I haven't done much traveling, except with friends, since I signed up but I plan on doing a lot of traveling in 2017, so hopefully I get more recommendations soon.
Interests
I love being active, I would be what you call a busy body. When I get bored, I learn new things which generally include some kind of art or craft. I'm also a huge movie nerd: I've worked on a few films as a PA and also own a very large collection of blu-ray/dvds. I enjoy reading but don't get a lot of time to do it. I also love being outside...doesn't matter what I'm doing...as long as I'm outside.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Jurassic Park, Gladiator, Guardians of the Galaxy, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, really too many to name
Music: SOHN, Ben Howard, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Creedance, etc.
Books: Comics (pretty much anything Image), The Kingkiller Chronicles, Harry Potter, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first would definitely be going to Lucerne in Switzerland. The town borders a very large lake in the Alps and the lake was home to thousands of swans. It literally was a scene from a postcard. Another would have to go the badlands...even though the landscape doesn't have much greenery, the rock formations are amazing. The third isn't necessarily a moment that left me awestruck but rather one of my favorite places in the world. Outside of Carbondale, IL is Camp Ondessonk (a children's camp where my family volunteers) and there is an area called Packentuck, which is a waterfall in the Ozarks. It's my favorite place to relax, reflect, and appreciate nature.
