ABOUT ME

I love nothing more than being outside and enjoying nature! The second best thing is partying, though, which I do a lot more of than I probably should! ;-) I enjoy life as much as I possibly can and am usually referred to as "sunshine" or always happy. What can I say? LIFE IS GOOD!!!! I love meeting new people and seeing the insides of a city while I'm travelling. I hate being a tourist but love being outside of my country. That's why this is such a brilliant site! Now I can get hooked up with people who can show me around so that I can see the interworkings of a city. That's awesome! And, if you happen to find yourself in lovely Las Vegas, PLEASE let me help you out!!! This is a brutal town for tourists looking for a party due to lines and cover charges and expensive drinks--not to mention pretty ridiculous music selections. But, if you've got a key to the real Vegas, it's a vacation that you'll never forget! Let me show you how we hold it down in the true city that never sleeps!!!! ;-)

I love to host anyone I can, as well as stay with people when I'm cruisin around. I much prefer staying with a CSer to hotels or hostels. I do love camping though, so I if that's the means I use to rest my head for the night, I tend to invite other Couchsurfers to join me :-D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wow . . . I can't say enough great things about this site! It's by far my favorite social interaction website because, unlike Facebook most times, you actually get to meet up in the real world. EVERY person I've met on this site or randomly come across in the world who is a member of this community, has awed me with their kindness and intrigued me with their intellect. I've hosted people from numerous countries and stayed a fair few places as well. And in years of linking up with individuals on here, I've yet to report even one negative experience!

Interests

Interests? Where to begin? Well, travel is first and foremost. I have a nagging need to set foot of every single country on this gorgeous planet! Secondly, motorcycles. I LOVE smoking fast street bikes and miss my bike (and my addiction to going fast) when I'm traveling. Third, all things in nature. Surfing, hiking, hot springs, rock climbing, whatever . . . I like to be outside! Forth, and as you could see from a lot of my pictures, I'm addicted to Burning Man! Who can blame me though? That shit is absolutely epic!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Hunter S. Thompson is my hero and favorite author. I do love Irvine Welsh, Chuck Palahnuik, Khaled Hosseini, Bill Bryson also. One day I'll write in length about all my favorite books, cause they're well worth the read, but that'll happen as time permits. As far as movies and music go, I love far too wide an array to detail them. I will say that I dig everything from old-school swing and big band music to jam bands and reggae though. And films range from docs to stoner classics to horror and independents.

Teach, Learn, Share

Every meeting produces and totally unique experience. And I appreciate that completely. Hence, I enjoy meeting all people. As far as those I like to learn from, if you're teaching, I'm listening! Whether or not I choose to adopt your ideas comes later, but I try hard to keep an open mind and eager ears.
