I am currently in a grueling graduate program and accomplishing a long-time dream! It's hard work but it is already paying off. I am an incredibly fortunate person to have the opportunities I've had and to be surrounded by incredible people in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very new (as in just joined) but had a CouchSurfer stay at my place last year (a friend of mine had told this CouchSurfer she could stay at their house, but then had to unexpectedly go out of town). This surprise guest is now one of my best friends!

Interests

conversations that get the wheels turning, red wine, walks with my dog, reading, music - anything that speaks to me, learning new things, taking chances, hiking, thrifting (or as I like to call it - treasure hunting), photography, clouds, taking pictures of clouds, crafting cards, a good beer (or two), home cooked meals, coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped perform CPR on a young man who actually ended up surviving. (statistically speaking, once you are in cardiac arrest, survival rate is extremely low). I saw him at the grocery store a month later.
