BTW: Although we live in Philadelphia, our home is a little ways away from downtown. If you arrive by car, the commute is easy. We suggest looking up the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia and verifying that this section of the city would be one you'd be interested in staying in. It's a super nice part of town with access to a beautiful park with nice hiking as well as it's own restaurant/bar scene. There's plenty of access to public transportation, and our house makes for a lovely retreat after a day of sightseeing. We have a couple of extra rooms with beds/futons, so you would actually have your own space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to host people from anywhere and everywhere. We have had lone travelers and whole families stay with us. After spending a couple of nights with couch-surfers we always feel reawakened and more connected to the world. We have had nothing but positive experiences.
