About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making life as interesting as possible!
ABOUT ME
I'm currently travelling on a bit of a whim... I started out in Asia and decided that I didn't want to go home! So here I am in Australia (a place where I never imagined I'd travel to and tbh I still can't believe I'm here most of the time!)
So I guess you could call be spontaneous- I like to make quick snap decisions and just go with it and see where I end up- its made travelling pretty exciting so far and has certainly taken me to some weird and wonderful places!
I would say I'm pretty easy too get on with- I love going out and socialising but i also love nothing more than chilling out with a few dozen cups of tea and watching telly or movies.
I'm a total art fanatic too- into a lot of creative things so would never turn down the chance to go to a gallery, exhibition, film, play, concert, festival etc.
PHILOSOPHY
To be happy. Whatever you do, just be happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've never actually techincally cs before, (although have randomly met people and ended up staying with them)...I have a few friends that have used CS and they all recommend it thoroughly.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hopefully i'll be adding something in here soon!
Interests
Well number one I guess would have to be travelling! I've been a fair few places and I can;t see my passion for travel ever dying down- I just love meeting new people, seeing all the amazing places in the world and have brilliant experiences :)
Number two- I like reading, when I make time for it- recently I've read The Alcemist, On The Road, One Day and my French grammar book- I've been attempting to learn French for years now and I think maybe finally some of it is finally sinking in!

Music, Movies, and Books
My all time favorite author is a Japanese guy called Haruki Murakami.. I also enjoyed The Alchemist, Catcher in the Rye, Apples (UK author Richard Millward), Life of Pi, High Fidelity, The White Tiger and probably many more. I like such a massive range of music I don't even know where to begin... Pixies, Angus and Julia Stone, Yeasayer, Kings of Leon (old stuff), Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters, The XX, Jack Johnson, The Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Modest Mouse and all the rest.
I'm a sucker for girly films such as Notting Hill, Love Actually, Pretty Women, He's Not That Into You etc but I really just love comedies... I've seen American Pie more times than I can remember, Withnail and I is one of my all time favorite movies too. Bascially i'll watch most stuff ( I do really love Docos also) just not that iknto scary things, unless you wana see me hiding behindf my sleeve- although I can see that would be amusing!
I also love tv comedies such as The Office, Summer Heights High, Black Books, The Inbetweeners.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One is very limited.
I saw a total eclipse when I was in Varnasi in India last summer. It was beautiful and so surreal. Dogs were howling, people we're in the river ganges praying. It was a very humbling experience.
(I've also sky dived which was pretty awesome)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot of general knowledge, not all of it useful but it's entertaining either way. I'm also good at giving advice and directions. So if you need help i'm your girl!
