ABOUT ME

I love adventure (as I would imagine everyone on either end of this couch surfing phenomenon does!) I enjoy people and as a result working in the restaurant business has lasted far longer than I originally intended when I started serving to "get through college." I've worked for quite a few brewpubs and micro breweries and I have a great love for the craft beer business. Yoga is one of my truest and deepest passions. I love practicing, teaching, and being surrounded by a community of that good yogi juju.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music that tells a story. Acoustic singer/songwriters are my fave, but I love music of almost any kind. I'm also a big fan of spoken word poetry. I love to read autobiographies (especially by the comedy writers of our day) and satire. In the way of movies, mostly comedy and the occasional rom com.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The great American road trip from the mountains of NC to San Diego has been one of my greatest experiences. That and a solo trip to OR, WA, and Banff, CA. There is nothing more liberating than solo travel!
