Overview
About Me
I am recently founded a nonprofit working to better predict where climate change impacts could lead to political instability and conflict. My personal goal is to better understand how I can, as an individual and as an organizer, maximize my contribution to creating a more just and sustainable world.
I started travelling when I was 17 and made the most beautiful, meaningful relationships. Now I finally have a fulfilling job that allows and encourages me to travel, and I love it! I am interested in climate action, social justice work and community organizing, and I love meeting new people who are passionate about making a difference.
I hope to live a life filled with meaning and love, respecting the dignity of every human being, and standing up for what I believe in. There are so many incredible people to meet in the world, and I believe that our daily actions and building relationships with each other as important to making a difference as the goals we set out to accomplish. Excited to meet you. <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I will be traveling soon to Europe for the 8th annual Conference on Building Resilience in Lisbon and the 24th Conference of Parties to the UNFCC in Katowice, Poland. I am excited to meet as many other organizers and amazing people as possible during my time there and find ways to give back to the community of people who puts so much into making a difference. I am excited to stay with you during my visit and host you and your friends in the Boston area as well!
Interests
I am really concerned about the global rise of authoritarianism, the impending threat of catastrophic climate change, and the social injustices, human rights violations, conflicts and humanitarian emergencies these interconnected problems have begun to create. I also love seeing the incredible human resilience and strength that stands in contrast to all of these obstacles, and working to understand the issues we are facing, make change, and appreciate life with people who are passionate about protecting people and our planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kindness. Not going to talk about various acts of kindness because that would be bragging. But they have been some of the most unforgettable, treasured times of my life. I'm sure that is the case for you, too!
As for things I am working on, standing up for what I believe in. Writing, canvassing, volunteering for advocacy and political campaigns. I am pretty shy about talking with people about this kind of thing, so for me it takes a lot of effort. Getting it done in the first place is the "amazing" thing. :)
I've also had a lot of adventures on motorcycles, rock climbing, hitch hiking, etc, but the most memorable moments now are ones that touch my internal values and make me remember what I most want and believe in.
Teach, Learn, Share
Want to practice English? Or learn about remote sensing research, and the relationship between climate change and conflict? I am totally your person. I also love sharing my knowledge of healthy and/or medicinal teas and would love to share some with you.
I would love to learn more about organizing across different political contexts. If you are involved in your community, organizing, or social movements, it would be great to learn more about your experiences!
