About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world, get to know the culture from inside, and to learn from everything I see, everyone I meet, everything I do!

ABOUT ME

Just a quick message; we'll be travelling ourselves around New Years... So no place to host in Amsterdam :(!

I enjoy life at every moment, or at least try to have as many enjoyable moments as possible. And that I do by having fun with friends, exploring the world, finding a job I like, cooking and baking pies and cookies and eating them all myself, eating chocolate, climbing walls (and rocks occiasionally), having fun on & in the water by surfing or swimming or relaxing, hiking around, cycling long distances to work (especially enjoying moments when I pass someone easily on my very crappy old bike, gnagna!) And especially I enjoy people, good talks and good laughs. Even though I like to do a lot of sports, my friends will alway come first.

PHILOSOPHY

To enjoy life and learn from everything. Maybe to find love someday, and try to realize why life is so beautiful - or not. At least I believe in giving everybody an equal chance to find some luck in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Challenging myself to the utmost - for example by climbing the huayna potosi in Bolivia, making my first hikes-without-guide in patagonia, climbing rocks, ... Seeing nature at its fullest, for example while experiencing the power of the wind while surfing, or enormously heavy rainfalls. They make me laugh!
But actually, also being away for half a year and realizing how important my friends And family back home are to me..!

Teach, Learn, Share

Consider yourself to be in this world to learn from everything you encounter. Take every experience as a way to learn about life and its surprises!

If you think about coming to Holland and like some good old Dutch parties, plan your trip right: On Queens day the 30th of April Holland goes crazy and orange. Carnaval in the south, somewhere in februari is something you really should experience.

Things to try visiting Holland: Take a slice of bread. Put peanut butter on it. And then, wait, you're not finished, take some 'hagelslag' from the host your couchsurfing with, and put it on top. Have a nice breakfast!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Indonesia
