About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to continue to expand my consciousness and evolve into a more loving and peaceful human being. I am hoping to travel and learn about new people and places. My partner and I are raising a combined 6 kids and looking to build an off-grid home in the near future so we can live a more deliberate, simple life and raise our children to be more conscientious.
ABOUT ME
I am a very social, compassionate, accepting person hoping to raise two kind daughters and experience all the simple pleasures life has to offer. My partner and I love to travel and find our most amazing experiences tend to be the off-the-beaten path variety where we get to experience local flavor and culture. We love to camp and hike, and truly enjoy going off-grid in search of a connection back to nature and simplicity.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe wholeheartedly in the golden rule. If everyone lived this way, life would be much simpler.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am hoping to meet new and interesting people, both by opening up my home to wanderers and by traveling to new and familiar places.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experience is limited, but I have many friends who crash here after late night discussions, netflix sessions, or backyard bonfires, so I feel like I have a good basis for hosting new folks too.

Music, Movies, and Books
All types of movies except extreme gore or violence. All types of music, except death metal and improvisational jazz (I just don't get it). Too many books to list. Love memoir and nonfiction, but also a good fantasy, sci-fi or novel now and then as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Oahu I got to snorkel in open water with sharks in Hawaii on an incredible, educational tour.
One of the most amazing places I have ever seen is in my own backyard...just a mere 3 hours away is Glacier National Park and its grandeur is truly magnificent. I’ve bagged a couple of peaks in the park and hiked hundreds of miles with grizzly bears, moose, deer, elk, coyotes, and even once saw a wolverine from a distance in the backcountry.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook an amazing ribeye. I appreciate simple beauty. I can generally see the good in any person and find it easy to listen when people need a compassionate ear. I have also been told I am good at making people feel loved and valued when they are feeling down. I have a gift for thrift shopping and scoring deals where they seem to not exist. I am happy to share this joy with others. I would love to learn more about knot tying, meditation, art of all kinds, and any other skill that I could use on my travels or in my daily growth.
