Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When traveling to a foreign city, I always feel like to feel the local vibe. It's all about the experience, and also sharing the moments with people, which makes the trip more unique.

And vice versa, I'd love to meet up when people travel to my city (currently Taipei, Taiwan), that I can show travelers a bit my version of Taipei, and also see my own city through different eyes! (Pity that at the moment I can't really host guests at my place, yet I'd love to meet up and share some good moments!)

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, it depends, just to see what I like , or to feel which song suits my mood at that moment.

Go to jazz/ folk/ indie gigs with friends sometimes. Or some nice house music for party.

For books, mostly fiction, stories! Favourite list at the moment is American Gods, Rødstrupe, Perfume, One Hundred Years of Solitude, My Family and Other Animals, The Good Fairies of New York by Martin Millar, and The Brooklyn Follies...

As for movies, here are the ones I always enjoy~ Love Actually, Ghost in the shell, Lost in translation, Trainspotting, Amélie, Fightclub, The Darjeeling Limited, American Beauty and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Switch career path at early 30's, dropped my advertising job and went to learn how to make coffee and became a waitress. And through that year behind the bar and coffee machine, I learn to become a writer/ editor, and still working on that!

Teach, Learn, Share

Some asian cooking, Chinese learning and so on.

As for to learn, everything, I guess!
