ABOUT ME

I have an almost two year old boy! Last April we travelled to France and Texas for 4.5 months. Now this April we are road tripping from Victoria, BC to Coachella and San Diego and then on to Austin, TX, then back home, probably through New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Oregon and home! We will take a month to do this, camping and couchsurfing along the way. I've been blessed with a child who travels very well and I'm taking full advantage of it!

Surf, attend meetings, but mostly, connect with the people!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it's been entirely positive! I've been super lucky with the people who have hosted me and also who I've hosted! Now that I have a child, it's slightly more tricky to find hosts who are well-suited for us, but so far we have had great experiences being hosted in Venice and Paris. We've even been hosted by a non-CSer!

兴趣

I love, LOVE to write! I write two blogs, one more actively than the other. I'm working on writing a book as well. Love music a lot as well and sort of fell away from it after having my son. Now he is almost one and is starting to "dance" and so I'm finding he's drawing me back into my love of music!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Having my son has been THE most amazing experience of my life! Nothing could ever top that and I've seen and done some pretty cool things!

Learning to drive a standard in France, scary, but pretty cool also!

Lived in Paris for 6 months when I was 21 as an exchange student.
