Hello! I'm Amber, 23 years old and I'm married to my high school sweetheart Shane. We live together in Auckland, New Zealand with our 3 crazy pets and we love to travel and meet new people.

If you would let us crash on your couch we would be the most gracious guests and of course if you're ever in our neck of the woods we would love to have you stay with us too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel light and only spend money on experiences, not things or fancy accommodation, to meet authentic and new people, to build on my confidence and see the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I tend to be a music chameleon, listening to house one minute and metal the next. If it's good, it's good! I am more particular about movies and books. My favourite movie is difficult to pin down since I have so many however my favourite books would have to be the Harry Potter series as I first learned how to read with these books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossed the Aegean Sea during a storm - took me 17 hours until I saw land again!
