About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am on a mission to experience as much as I possibly can. I'm pretty sure it's the only way to figure out this crazy thing called life. I also aim to bring as much joy to others as I can.

ABOUT ME

I am part poet, part philosopher, part hippy, and part hyped-up, spontaneous adventurer.

PHILOSOPHY

1) Go with the flow. In the end, it will all work out well enough.

2) Happiness is a choice. There is a lot of shit that happens in life, and while you can't avoid a good chunk of it, you can decide how you will react to it.

3) If an action does not hurt another person, it is not immoral.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm about to go on my first backpacking trip through Europe in a few weeks, so I won't be able to offer my couch up until September.

Interests

Right now I'm double majoring in psychology and creative writing, which basically sums up my main interests. I love to write and I love to meet new people and find out their perspectives on life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands are Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, The Mars Volta, Muse, Elbow, and Kings of Leon.

Some of my favorite movies are Amelie, Pulp Fiction, Rasing Arizona, The Big Lebowski, The Shawshank Redemption, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, and Little Miss Sunshine.

I never know what to put in the book section. Too, too many lovely ones out there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing places I've been to are the Grand Canyon and Yosemite Valley. If you haven't been there yet, make it a point to go. It is absolutely beautiful.

The most amazing thing I've seen people-wise would have to be the Human Urinal at the San Francisco Folsom Street Fair. Feel free to ask me about that one.

As to the most amazing thing I've done, I'd have to go with sky-diving. There's really nothing like jumping out of a plane.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the basics of writing a good short story, and if you have any work with you, I'm more than willing to critique it.
