ABOUT ME

I am from the United States but have been living in Spain teaching English. I lived in Philadelphia, PA for 11 years and consider myself a city girl. I love to teach both children and adults and also enjoy learning new things.
I like to explore back roads and abandoned buildings. I want to find secret beautiful places that most people overlook. I enjoy the outdoors and love to hike, camp, or walk through the woods.
I play Dungeons & Dragons among other games. I love playing games and watching movies. I love coffee and beer. I like to cook, dance, and see movies (at home). I also occasionally enjoy seeing a band or an art show.

I have surfed with people. Right now I am a bit nomadic, but hope to host people when I am more settled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only stayed with really nice people who were happy to share their space with me. The right host can really make your travel experience better. I stayed with an awesome girl in Portugal and her friends and her showed me a wonderful time.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like all kinds of music - I mostly like punk, indie, metal, but also enjoy hip-hop, country, pop (depends on the artist). You get the idea!
For books, I usually read fiction, but also like to read historical accounts. Like everyone else right now I do like the Game of Thrones books and await book #6. I like comics/graphic novels. I am not a total fan girl, so don't expect me to explain the entire Marvel universe, but I do enjoy comics.
I love movies and will participate in lengthy discussions of action and horror movies. I like a good drama, comedy, or western also.

Hiking across the Andes to go to Machu Picchu.
Climbing up an old incline railway to get into an abandoned amusement park. Watched the sun set sitting in the tracks, then proceeded to have a Scooby Doo adventure.
