ABOUT ME (English follows)

J'ai grandi et étudié à Québec, puis j'ai vécu à Halifax plusieurs années. Par la suite j'ai découvert Montréal et ses beaux quartiers, pour finalement m'installer plus au Nord, dans les montagnes, à Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. Je suis une personne tranquille mais curieuse d'apprendre et explorer; à Montréal j'aimais bien les musées et les maisons de thé, et maintenant que je suis dans les Laurentides je profite de la piste cyclable (piste de ski de fond en hiver), du Lac des Sables, et autres beautés de la nature. Enfin, je joue du violon trad!

Born and raised in Québec, adopted / was adopted by Halifax in my late 20's. My early 30's were spent in Montreal and I now live in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, close to the Lake, the bike trail, and the mountains.
I'm on the quiet side but very curious. I love to learn. I also love art, gardens, good home-made (home-grown!) food and good conversation. Oh and last but not least, I play the fiddle, I've been learning the traditional Quebec fiddle repertoire in the past couple of years and it's now my favorite thing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled with CS for the first time in Nelson, BC. A few years ago I surfed in Argentina. These experiences were amazing, I've met lovely people and made good friends thanks to this website.

I've met people for coffee, a walk, good conversations. I've enjoyed practicing Spanish! I've hosted a few times, mostly very friendly people from France, it was lots of fun :)

A cute and comfy little room with 2 single mattresses. Also the couch in the living room is an old pull-out couch if extra room needed.
Would love to welcome folk / trad musicians and learn / teach new tunes! I can read music, but prefer to learn by ear.
