About Me

I have been working in the restaurant industry for over 8 years and aside from that, I filled the last 2 years of my spare time with dancing. For me, this meant Salsa and Bachata. Dancing has become my escape from everyday life. Fitness & Health has become a huge part of my life, from lifting weights to calisthenics to healthier food choices. The later has led me to try everything up to a vegan diet, also allowing me to really feed my love for cooking(If there is free food in front of me, meat or vegan, I'm not going to say no). I try to read 10 pages of a personal development book each day, its all about habits!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing because I am traveling alone for the first time ever and the goal of my backpacking trip is to really get to know other cultures and other people. How they think, interact, joke around, dance, and cook(I would love to learn local dishes and spices).

Couch surfing came highly recommended to me by a friend. I'm not traveling to party(maybe once in a while... :), I'm mainly traveling to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are what is on my mind lately. The Slight Edge by Jeff Olsen is my all time favorite! Also, I have recently started reading Habits by Charles Duhigg which is blowing my mind. How to win friends and Influence People has an offsetting title I find, but inside the book is something to appreciate.

As far as music goes, I love Piano for background chill vibes. House music is what I love for when I'm partying or going out as well as working out. Heavy Metal(Disturbed for sure) for workouts

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to learn how to dance which gave me the best friends in the world. Also currently selling all my things and deciding to travel, surprised myself with this one.
