Overview
About Me
I grew up on Oahu Hawaii so surfing and the ocean have always been an important part of my life. But appreciation and enjoyment are the states of mind I tend to choose so the rest of the world offers delights and sights I could never get at home. I love being in my element but I also love being in completely different environments and situations as well because it provides me with deeper perspectives which last forever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To create a richer experience no matter where I am, whether it's my house or Zimbabwe, through the individuals who are inclined to reach out to fellow adventurers.
Interests
Surfing. Learning. Laughing. Spending time with my family. Meeting congenial individuals. Eating good food. Climbing things. Jumping off of things. Cooking. Being warm. Being cold. Being weird. Getting my masters degree. Being fluent in at least one other language by the time my first child is born. Traveling to new places and also going back to places I really enjoyed. Laying down. Relaxing. And of course all the other fun things like skating, snowboarding, playing pool, ping pong, and singing to myself while waiting for a wave.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music that sounds good.
Comedies, rom coms, and thriller/adventure/fantasy movies are great.
Fiction is a guilty pleasure but Chuck Palahniuk has some good reads.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Attending and graduating from University of California, San Diego was very amazing to me.
