ABOUT ME

My work has my traveling a lot right now so I have set my couch to "Maybe" because I honesty don't know when I will really be around to host. Please drop me a note if you need a couch and I will be sure to get back to you to let you know if I can host.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a crazy ride, without a doubt I think everything happens for a reason. I have had some life changing events take place in my life that have changed the way I view the value of life.
We grow every day that we are alive, as we experience new things it changes who we are. Who I am now is a completely different person than I was two years ago. Who I am today is not who I will be two years from now. When we stop growing has people, that means we have given up. Don't let this happen to you!!
I try very hard to put myself in other peoples shoes before I react to different situations. Most of the time we do not have a clue what other people have going on in their lives.
Take a moment to think:
-Maybe this person just lost someone in their life.
-They could be having difficulty at home.

For years I always put other peoples needs above my own. I still find that every day struggle however I have been trying to make sure that I take care of myself as well a little more now.

I am just getting signed up here so for now I want to get my name out there as a nice place to surf. Enjoy meeting new people and hearing the stories from all over the world. Will continue to update my profile and activities as I use the site.

Interests

I enjoy skydiving although I have not been in a some time. Now that I live in a area I can jump often I plan to get back into it.
**Update 8/14/2009** Have been looking into Skydive Arizona down in Eloy and I can NOT WAIT to get back into the sport! If anyone jumps that reads this please send me a note, I would love to find some people in the area, maybe we can share rides or just share stories.

Hiking is always fun past time as well.

Enjoy technology, it is my job and also a hobby! Due to that I spend at least 4 days a week in the gym to keep in shape.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While a member of a high adventure group the opportunity to hike the Appalachian Trail on a number of occasions. All hikes total hundreds of miles on the trail, one of the most memorable moments had the group on a scenic overlook that was 40 miles from the nearest town. It was the most amazing trip. To stand on that overlook was breath taking, no sign of civilization.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can resolve just about any computer related issue and love to show people how to fix things. Knowledge is power so spread the wealth!
Enjoy cooking and have some great family recipes that I make when there are enough people around to share.
Have been involved in a couple different adventure groups as a adviser. Strong hiker and experienced backpacker, would love to find some people to do some nice hikes out here ... when it is not 115F outside.
