I think it's a great opportunity to know new people and new cultures.
Places are as good as their people. Traveling alone it's an experience but traveling alone and stayind and living with the locals make that experience way better.
At the end all that counts are the memories you have and the people you experienced it with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Being in Paris for a whole night and then sleeping in a hospital cause I had no housing.
2. Climb a mountain in Les Calanques (France) which was dangerous but I could have one of the most beautiful views in my life
