About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life to the fullest and figure out my purpose.

ABOUT ME

I'm a really easy going, laid back person. I guess it's part of my Pisces go with the flow nature. I'm a pretty positive person and I absolutely love to laugh. I love to create and I have a passion for the arts.

PHILOSOPHY

pura vida! I try and appreciate life everyday and take joy in the simple things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met some really neat people locally through different events. I've even been introduced to the world of burning, meeting some local fire performers through CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've attended some local meet ups and met some really awesome people. I visited Austin Texas with a friend and we stayed with a couchsurfer. It was an amazing experience. The trip was made even more awesome by having such a wonderful host.

Interests

painting, crafting, making things with my hands, ceramics, camping, dancing, roller skating, speaking with accents, making and dressing up in costumes, geocaching, road trips, swimming, kayaking, napping in hammocks, bio-luminescence, quantum physics, watching movies, traveling, sea monkeys, learning about animals and the world around me, cartoons, laughing, of course traveling, and just enjoying the company of my lovely friends and making new ones.

I love reading, but I am finding it harder to make the time for it as I get older. I love science fiction and fantasy. I love DUNE!!! My all time favorite childhood book is The Giver. This was the first book that made me think of the way I experience life and how it's all based on perception, which is truly and solely yours alone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have witnessed bio-luminescence with my own eyes and it was magical.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a studio art major, so I like to think I'm pretty talented in the aesthetic arts. I love working with clay and I know my way around a potter's wheel. I love doing anything crafty especially painting and sewing. I love animation and I've even made my own stop motion. Sometimes I'm a total weirdo when it comes to organization and I love helping people organize their spaces.

I would love to learn how to surf and get SCUBA certified. I also dream of one day sailing around the world. As you can tell, I love water. I've recently been introduced to fire performance and it would be awesome to learn how to do fire poi. I'm also trying to improve my cooking skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to create art! I am well versed in many different media and love to collaborate.
