About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the country, learn, and make some good friends

ABOUT ME

I'de like to think my best friends would say that I am a loyal and generous person. I value honesty above all other qualities in myself and others. I'm pretty laid back. I don't stress hard about anything. When your my friend, what is mine is yours, and I like to share things with others. I have a pretty good sense of humor, and I like to enjoy a drink and smoke once in a while. I like to keep things simple, I enjoy eating, I stay up late and sleep in. Music is my life. I am dependable if you are relying on me, and I stay true to my word.

PHILOSOPHY

either you choose fear or love. and keep it simple

Interests

I am a professional musician who has worked in the Seattle Soul scene for the last 2 years, as well as at many Seattle area churches. I also work in youth music education in the Seattle area highschools. I am a singer/songwriter and pianist. I love music in all forms, and the different cultures of music. My favorites are Jazz, Gospel and Blues, but I also really like Latin and African music. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. I strive to be constantly learning something new about myself or the world and people around me. I like anything that gives an adrenaline rush as well, I just bought my first motorcycle, and have been enjoying some long rides. I believe that just bein outside in nature is the easiest way to communicate with your higher self, and to be at one and peace with god

Music, Movies, and Books

All music, history, documentaries, comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been invited to the white house twice. Once for a civil rights music concert, and the other to meet Smokey Robinson, Yolanda Adams, Bernice Reagon Johnson, and the Freedon singers. I also got a chance to see the President. I saw Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Natalie Cole, Jennifer Hudson, Smokey Robinson, John Mellancamp, Yolanda Adams, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and the Freedom singers perform with Ricky Minor's band at the White house. But the coolest thing about the trip was that I was staying in a hotel with 100 other kids from all around the country. It was druing the biggest snow storm the east coast has seen in 100 years. we were snowed in , and we OWNED that hotel. They must have called the cops 100 times but they could never make it out cause of the snow haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been involved in youth education since I was 18. I also know a lot about music theory. I have worked at a youth hostel, and I know about how to hostel. I'de like to learn more about my country and the people in it
