About Me
My name is Amelia and i am an anthropology student trying to figure out how the world works. Over my life I've find things I throughly enjoy; great conversations, plant based food, beautiful nature and creative people.
I'm usually down to hang out if someone is in town, even though I don't live in Copenhagen anymore(1+ hour away) yes I DO NOT live in copenhagen, but in Virum.
I've met people through couch surfing before, and those are experiences I treasure.
Studying anthropology is a big part of me, and I find most things interesting- so don't be afraid to tell me what your great grandmother used to cook, or which architect drew your neighbor house. I love anthropology's holistic approach to functions in life, and I am happy to soak up any knowledge you are willing to share
People don't seem to be reading it, but I prefer to host female solo travelers, since there aren't that many options out there :)
I have been described as "the most stereotypical Couchsurfer ever" - I love meeting new people, im happy too clean up or cook food for others, I don't mind sleeping on the floor and I LOVE telling stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to get to know more people from around the world, my global network is the best thing that has ever happened to me! Besides I find it incredibly fascinating how people go about in their day to day life.
It is in spaces like these where you find such kindness, and I'd love to be a part of that

Music, Movies, and Books
growing up we had two great pianos in the living room( which came to be known as the piano room) and my father always played Bach. It creates an intense nostalgia for me.
I love music and concerts that feel present, and I have had great experiences with most genres
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have sailed around New Zealand for two months
What I Can Share with Hosts
Besides my knowledge, my empathy, and my silly party tricks, I am an alright cook. I am no artist, but I do love storytelling
