Originally from the Pacific Northwest, USA, and I've lived in San Francisco, Portland, Bellingham, and most recently several months in Paris, France! I like exploring new places, eating good food, sitting on porches, hiking, dancing, meeting new people, long conversations, learning languages, and being up-side-down.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be doing some European meandering this summer 2015, and would love to use couchsurfing as a way to get to know new friends and locals!

Interests

Topics likely to come up in conversation with me are: art (of all kinds), must-see places in the world, inspiration, the perfect ice cream, education, international perspectives, social justice, and your myers-briggs typology. At university I studied arts administration and dance. I've worked as a dance teacher, language tutor, grant writer, circus performer, farmer's market vendor, and ice cream scooper (3 times over, in 3 different states).

I also really like coffee, and will likely need to know the closest place I can obtain it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a passably spectacular cook and would love to contribute to a meal. Also able to practice French/English, lead some yoga, be a conscientious guest, help you knit a scarf, and sing along badly.
