About Me
I'm a recent college grad indulging my newfound love of traveling. I try to live by the mantra "practice reckless optimism" because the best way to deal with this crazy world we live in is to find things to laugh about and find ways to see the best in people.
I love theatre, cats, cooking, dancing (even though I'm not very good), and staying up late talking with friends. I'm a total Hufflepuff--very laid back and adaptable, but fiercely protective of people I love, and always excited to meet new people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couch surfing seems like a great way to meet new people and get a local experience in every city I visit! I'm new to the site, but I really appreciate that it's designed to build community on the go and in your own city.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorites are really hard to define since there's so much I haven't experienced, but these are my go to answers.
Favorite book: Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman has held the number one spot for a few good years now, but I also love YA lit and have started getting into memoirs and nonfiction.
Favorite movie: No matter what mood I'm in, I'm always down to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I also love Pixar, musicals, and romcoms.
Favorite music: It's a tie between Hamilton and Jukebox The Ghost, with constantly rotating list of random Spotify playlists and soundtracks to other musicals.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make you laugh and make you dinner. I'd also love to see a show together (play, musical, or live music), and/or get drinks/dinner out.
