Hi everyone! My name is Amelia. 42 year old single, professional Mother, business owner and student. I have a 3 year old son who changed my life. I want to introduce him to as many cultures, races, religions and ideas as possible so he will grow to one day be a kind hearted, open minded, accepting, culturaly diverse man.
I lovvvee meeting new people, wandering in unknown places, discovering new things, learning,and making new friends. I love to laugh! Im known to make people feel like they've been my friend for years, 5 minutes after we meet. I absolutely love to cook, hike, rock and mineral hunt, and absolutely anything to do with art. I love to talk and have a good time with good people. I love seeing the beauty in things most people don't see. I am a very positive person who realises life is too short to miss out on the little things that make life so beautiful.
I was a little hesitant about starting this idea because I generally don't feel comfortable staying anywhere for free, but the idea of meeting new people and making new friends from everywhere in the world sounds Amazing! It would be great to meet other parents or just cross paths and exchange cultures, conversations, stories and laughs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want my son to grow up with the same respect for all humans as I have and not look at race, gender or nationality .We started this journey southeast Asia and went into the middle east over to Africa and on our way into Europe, word of Covi and I would love to meet new people and discover your culture and learn new experiences as well as share ours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled across Asia with a 1 year old ..alone. Best time of my life. Ive also traveled through the states multiple times and discovered back roads,mountains,trails and small towns that I would not have ever seen if I didn't take the time to meet people and explore.
This beautiful planet.
