I started travelling after I finished high school. I've worked in Germany for a little bit and in Bulgaria for 18 months. I spent 6 months learning shaolin kungfu in an Academy in China. Later I have been to Thailand where I practiced muay thai boxing and I also volunteered for a month in a permaculture eco-village.
Before leaving high school I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life, all I knew was that I needed to leave and travel. During those years I had the chance to try and experience many different things.
Don't ask me why I went to China to learn martial arts because I couldn't answer. It just felt right and that's how I take most of my decisions. Sporting four to five hours a day and watching my kungfu masters perform made me 'fall in love' with bodies. I became so intrigued and amazed by what our bodies were capable of, the way movement has an impact on the mind and the mind has an impact on the body.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

My life is basically: I read something somewhere that I find interesting and then somehow I end up experiencing the theory I read about. Or the other way around.
I don't read to gain intellectual knowledge but because it speaks to my heart. To me real knowledge and understanding comes from experiences and actions.
