About Me
I am working/ travelling/ learning for a year before I commence another adventure moving to Bonn, Germany to earn my Masters in Environmental Economics!
I am a tea drinker, coffee lover and foodie who occasionally enjoys sipping wine and drinking beer but is not a 'partier' by any stretch of the imagination.
I love to be active and am never happier than out breaking a sweat in nature, whether long distance cycling, hiking, x-country skiing or running.
I have backpacked and hiked almost every trail in the Alberta rockies (there are always more hikes to do, right?)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To participate in an exchange of cultures and ideas and share adventures:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month cycling from Toronto to St Johns Newfoundland (with a ferry in between of course)!
I also biked (with the help of several buses along the way) between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city with a couple of friends this year!
Lived in Ankara, Turkey for a year hiked parts of the Lycian way along the Aegean coast, took a 24hour train to the city of Kars on the Armenian border, participated in the Turkish national orienteering championships, travelled by bus to Georgia and many other adventures!
