About Me

Hello guys,

I grew up in Melbourne (Australia) and now I'm living in London because I love travelling and it's much easier here than Australia. I'm looking forward to seeing lots of Europe. I'm keen to meet people from different places, share new experiences, and go exploring!

So I'm an easy going person and pretty much always up for a chat. I'm also happy to be independent but I've always got room to change my plans when something good comes along.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never tried couch surfing but after talking to people in backpackers it sounds like a great way to meet locals. I guess I never know what's going to happen unless I give it a shot. So I'm trying couch surfing out.

Interests

When I'm traveling I really like walking around a place until I get lost and then somehow finding my way back again. I also love eating all the food (I'm sure everyone would say this), finding events to get involved with, and looking at some of the sights. Though, I'm not really into super touristy things.

In general I like going to markets, cooking up a feast, getting coffee, doing some crafting things, drinking wine, and going to gigs/festivals

Also, when I lived in Australia I lived near the bush and I loved going bush walking regularly. I miss it a little bit now so I'm usually keen to find some nature activity on a holiday

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie is probably The Life Aquatic and I like other films in the category of 'quick indie films'.

My music taste is pretty broad I think. I like gypsy jazz, blues, indie pop, indi folk, but at the moment I really like Ghostpoet which is electronic. So I pretty much like all music except heavy metal.

At the moment Im reading a book called Sapiens. Its sort of a short history of humans with a bit of an anthropological emphasis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hmmmm, is this the impress story part?

I'm not too sure what to put here, but it was pretty amazing travelling through India by myself. It's definitely the most memorable travel trip because it was completely different to everything that was familiar. It was energising! It was also exhausting. I think it was great because I could see/hear/taste/feel so so many opposite things co-existing all at once.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you like I can cook a meal or two with you and I'd also love to share some new adventures! Also, I'm happy to share my place others.
