I'm a teacher taking a year to travel and see the world! I'm from a big family- one of six including a twin brother! I grew up outside of Los Angeles, went to college in San Francisco then teaching brought me to New Orleans where I left my heart. My life revolves around music, food, family and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get the best experience out of my travels and I've found that meeting and connecting with people is the best way to do that! I've stayed with two couch surfers and the experiences were so special. I love being able to experience a city as a local, not just hit up tourist destinations.

Interests

Hiking, swimming, snorkeling (now certified to scuba !!), yoga, dancing, laughing, having a good time!

Music, Movies, and Books

I loveeeee music and listen to all types! I've been listening to the new Kendrick album non stop- hip hop and rap are my favorite. Reading the achemist right now and love watching comedies or thrillers. Just finished the wire which is officially the best show ever made.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a certified special education teacher so teaching is my thing! I am currently trying to learn to play the harmonica but not doing so well haha I also love to cook! I'm also learning Spanish so Yo necesito practicar mi español más por favor.
