Overview
About Me
I am a biology student finishing up my final year in my undergraduate degree. Right now I am working on a research project studying permafrost thaw and the impacts it is having on arctic ecosystems and the atmosphere.
One of my favorite things to do is going on for long walks, with or without a destination in mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and feeling at home in places that I have never been to before. I hope that I can share my positive attitude, stories, food, and friendship with as many people as possible, and that I can learn from people and get to know them in return.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love folk music from all around the world! My favorite bands from more recently is the Dixie Chicks and Noah and the Whale.
Right now I am in the middle of reading "House of the Spirits" by Isabelle Allende, and so far it is one of the best books I have ever read. I also really like "East of Eden", by John Steinbeck, "Middlesex", by Jeffery Eugenides, and all of the Harry Potter books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Iceland in the march and still managed to find somewhere different to swim outdoors every day for a week. There were pools, hot springs, rivers, and once, the ocean!
Countries I’ve Lived In
Spain, Sweden, United States
