Hi everyone! I'm Amelia, from Italy.
I study social education at the university of Bologna.
I' m a very outgoing person, I like very much staying with others and meeting new people, though I also enjoy being alone and making solos-activities like writing, reading, drawing, trekking or meditation.
Sharing is a life value to me and I dream about living in a community, but for now I concentrate on studies and little jobs like babysitting or tuition in order to be a little more economically independent and to afford traveling.
Since I was a child I've attended a scout group through which I've done all the best and worst experiences of my life! As a result I can't stay without nature and I can face whatever adjusting problem :D
It taught to me that we really need very less material stuff in life and that happiness is all about being with your loved ones.
It also introduced me to social service that's what I want to dedicate my life to.
I've spent the fourth year of highschool in India through an intercultural exchange program, living in a local family...it has been a greatful experience, which taught me how to get used to a totally different way of living and thinking.
Now I'm very fond of other cultures and I'm eager to know about other countries' traditions.
So I won't loose any occasion to travel, discover, meet, talk and share :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I discovered couchsurfing few years back, before my trip to China cause I was looking for a different way to travel and since there I did not stop. I couchsurfed in China, Germany and Spain and I hosted few american, Italian and indian people.

Couch surfing really changed my view upon traveling, which does not mean just visit around but getting the chance to truly live the place you're going to.

I think it's an awesome opportunity to match the need of being hosted with the pleasure of meeting local people and sharing experiences with all the travelling-lovers around the world!

Still living with my mum and sister in a very small house I do not often get the chance to host, while I truly believe it's an awesome opportunity of sharing.
So if you need I'll be happy to receive your requests but I won't be always able to accept it.
Most likely I'll be free to meet, hang out or sightseeing with you :)

音乐、电影和书籍

I love listening to music and dancing. I prefer rock, reggae and folk music but I love discover new songs and bands.
I do not watch movies often but I really enjoy it. I'm very sensitive so no horror or violent movies with me! I think a good movie is the one that makes you both cry and laugh.
I love reading whatever, from classical literature to modern novels and I especially enjoy reading in the original language, mostly english, french and spanish :)

My trip to china! Going around and being hosted and feeded by people I just met. Sleeping on the top of the great wall and getting drunk with chinese beer singing inner mongolian songs with locals xD

I'm fond of cooking and I'd be very happy to cook for my hosts or guests.
I'm very open and I like talking about my life, sharing my experiences and I can't wait listening to other people stories and thinkings.
I'm very active and always ready for new adventures, I'm eager to discover and experience new things so I' ll easily follow others in whatever they do.
I would like to practice the languages I speak and learn new languages.
I expect a deep cultural exchange.
