Overview
About Me
I’m living my life, moving between jobs and directions, enjoying exploring different facets of life and self.
I’ve lived in a handful of different states in the past few years with engineering jobs and internships, and this past year taught in the local high school.
I enjoy backpacking, traveling, cultural exchanges, learning new things, art and creativity, reading, art galleries, local legends and tales, and swimming.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel should be a cultural and personal exchange, more than a solitary journey. Everyone has a story that is worthy of being shared, and heard, and there is so much to mutually learn from one another.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past year for my birthday I took a week to solo hike the Shenandoah National Park through western Virginia, USA. I hiked 115 miles (185.1 km) in 7 days, seeing thousands of butterflies, a handful of bears, and some brilliant summit views along the way. It was my first real section of the Appalachian Trail, and I hope to continue to chomp away at the 2,000 miles in the future.
