Overview
About Me
I'm an artist/woodworker/bookseller from New England. I love to draw, paint, read, write, get into long discussions about books, fix stuff with my hands, build things out of wood, dig in the dirt, explore new places, and get to know new people. I enjoy listening to well-told tales, and I'm always happy to swap stories about interesting adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books
Aw, man, it would be easier to ask what media I DON'T like... I read virtually anything I can get my hands on. I just finished "Educated" by Tara Westover, which I've since been recommending to everyone I know, and I'm about halfway through "Walking to Listen" by Andrew Forsthoefel, which is another awesome book. I've also been enjoying a lot of stuff by Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, and Malcolm Gladwell recently.
As for movies, I just saw "Oceans 8," which was fantastic, and "Coco" was one of the most heartwarming movies I've seen in a while. I'll always have a special place in my heart for "Matilda," but I also really loved "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World."
Music... let's see: Bach, The Beatles, The Decemberists, Feist, The Shins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, whatever band happens to be playing nearby at the time... a real mix of stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once successfully rode a 5-foot tall giraffe unicycle.
