About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to push myself to the limit in every aspect of life - physical, intellectual, emotional

ABOUT ME

I'm a 23 year old Electrical Engineering Student at University of California, San Diego. I'm all about living 200% of life! I'm passionate about curiosity driven research, science, and teaching, but I'm also all about the outdoors!

PHILOSOPHY

So many fields to fill out! I'm a devout pastafarian... that should be enough :-). I also thoroughly enjoy religious or philosophic discussions with anyone open enough to speak logically about their beliefs, whatever they may be. Discovering what makes true believers tick, and their perspective on things is very fascinating for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently just travelling, but as soon as I get back to san diego, I'd love to be able to start hosting! This is such a great idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed once so far (I'm typing this from their living room), and it's been a really great experience. So much warmth and welcome, infinitely better than a hotel.

Interests

Reading, cycling, snowboarding, particle physics, cooking, BREWING, swing dancing, and pretty much everything else!

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been reading more science popularification books recently than anything else. I enjoyed "how the universe got it's spots", about particle astrophysics and topology. Historically though, I've loved herman hesse! The glass bead game, and siddhartha. I also love Don Quixote, and pretty much all sci-fi.
My musical taste is varied, from pretty much anything to anything else. I can do dubstep to accoustic, pop, rock, whatever suits my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on a bike ride one time, and I met this older gentleman, packed down with everything he owned. He told me he had just retired, and, on no particular time schedule, was biking from california to colorado! I was so inspired!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to snowboard! Or answer pretty much any math / physics questions you might encounter on a BA level... I don't have much philosophical knowledge, I'd love to learn about all the classic ideas. Or art, I'd love to learn art.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, England, Italy, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
