ABOUT ME

My name is Amelia and I'm a 22 y.o student living in the lovely little Tasmania.
Travelling has always been a part of the "plan" for me - I can't imagine living in this big, vibrant, colourful world without seeing as much of it as I can!
I am friendly and outoing - I like quiet nights in as much as I like big nights out. I will try nearly anything once. I drink a lot of tea. I love to be outdoors,and I am happy to just wander around in a new place to explore and learn and see what I can see. I am an avid reader and cook. I'm just about to finish my 3rd year of a 5 year law degree. I am curious, eager, positive, optomistic, talkative and adventurous.

As I embark on my mission to see the world, I hope to use couch-surfing to make new friends, see new places and help other people do the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have a couch-surfing experience, but I hope to start soon!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have learnt to appreciate the unique beauty of the place I call home, and realised how lucky I am to be here. I have abseiled a 100m waterfall, snorkelled with tropical fish, stood an a mountain covered in snow and looked out across a wintery city, I have soaked up the sun on a long, flat beach. I have grown up, and I have learnt to look forward to all the growing up I have yet to do.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Things I can teach: how to cook (this is also something to share), how to speak Pig Latin, things about the law, how to waterski, how to play piano.

Things I would like to learn: French and Italian. How to do a proper cartwheel. How to make homemade pasta. How to drive on the other side of the road. How to sew (other than buttons). How to play guitar.

Things I would like to share: Laughter, memories, postcards.
